I guess my only concern is that it doesn't come with multiple ceiling mounts. And, I am also thinking that I am going to going to have to take these cameras offline and bring them inside during the coldest part of Michigan's winter.

It runs on battery which lasts very long so I don't have to worry about wires. I hate wires so I automatically love this. Battery life is limited months is what I heard, although for my purposes , it looks like it will be on the lower end of that with 4 months. A firmware upgrade out of box stole about ~8% of my total life. The motion alert feature is great for when you are away, but I wish Nest would concede some short amount of video history for casual users. I can't say enough good things about the new app.

Expect about 10 feet of visibility at night (in terms of seeing someone's face - you'll be able to see further). The cameras are wireless and super easy to install. The video is good quality. It does capture based on motion within its range but doesnt have night vision. I have few recordings at night but cant see a thing in there as it pitch dark. You cannot arm/disarm the motion sensing of the individual cameras. Either they are are all armed or disarmed.
